This week’s word is Planning. Planning is a key ingredient to meeting the Objectives we set forth for ourselves and it is also a key ingredient in remaining consistent with those goals. Whenever you find yourself not making progress, ask yourself if you are following the plan. If not, does the plan need altered so that you can follow it?
The flip side of having a plan is making sure to allow for things to interfere with the plan and have contingency plans in place to bring you back to the main plan and therefore your goals. Life happens but the more you can be prepared for, the more that you can find your focus and return to achieving your objectives.
Bottom line, have a plan, but be prepared to change it as necessary to what works for you.
