Hi everyone! As we know, Autumn is officially here both by calendar and the weather beginning to turn colder. Leaves are falling and children are settling into the new school year. And.. there is a bunch of tempting candy sitting somewhere in some of their homes.
This time of year is the time of reflecting over the last year and seeing the results of all of our actions during the year. What did we do that did something for us or our family? What did we do that ended up being a waste of energy? Perhaps in the coming year, we will be able to look over our priorities again and make a change for the better.
One thing to consider is how are you taking care of your body? Are you exercising? Are you at least stretching each day? Are walking at least 30 minutes a day? How about considering your safety? Have you done some training in how to keep yourself and your family safe? Wait, is this an ad for kung fu?
Possibly, but suffice to say that we often become so busy with our work lives and family lives that we often forget to take care of something very important. Ourselves. Take this time to reflect on how you can better do that in the coming year and we look forward to seeing you in class.
